You may not be able to take off for Africa three times a year for three weeks at a time, but YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
As you can imagine, the cost of camp supplies, travel arrangements and getting the word out can add up quickly.
One of the most effective ways of partnering with our organization is by dontaing supplies or funds for supplies.
Of course, you're more than welcome to donate your time and talent as well, but here are a few other suggestions:
MONETARY DONATIONS:
Our volunteers who travel to Africa work hard to raise funds for travel expenses. Consider donating money to help cover the cost of a volunteer's travel arrangements. For our volunteers, every dollar counts. You may also consider the following:
- $125 - Consider sponsoring a kid for camp.
- $750 - Consider covering the cost of the supplies to host a camp.
"GIFT IN KIND" DONATIONS:
Maybe you have access to specific types of resources (like art supplies & music equipment) and would like to help us compile supplies for a camp or teacher training event. Here's a list of items used at most of our camps that we host:
- Accoustic Guitars
- Guitar Strings & Picks
- Disposable Cameras
- Drumsticks
- Sharpie Markers & Pens
- White Flat Bed Sheets (used in our quilt projects)
Of course, we are thankful for any amount of money or supply items you may be able to donate.
