This collection of quilt squares was drawn by war-affected youth in Gulu, Uganda. They drew something they needed to forgive and something that made them feel hopeful.

Welcome and thank you for visiting! Invest In Children Africa exists to bring healing and hope to Africa's war-torn and traumatized youth.

We create and implement programs that use trauma-based curricculum, music and artistic expression with the focus of bringing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. We also train staff, teachers and volunteers about the effects of trauma and post-traumatic stress on the brain.

Our goal is to enable traumatized youth to build greater resiliency skills and develop healthy coping mechanisms empowering them to be able to process the trauma that has invaded their lives.
